Meet Our Founder

Born in a small village in Northern Palestine to an Arab father and an Armenian mother, Mary Hazzan grew up surrounded by a rich blend of cultures, traditions, and beauty influences that would later shape her creative vision.

Although she earned a degree in Economics and Statistics, her passion led her to study Fashion Styling and Creative Direction in Paris before training as an Image Consultant in Dubai, laying the foundation for a career centered around personal style and visual storytelling.

Her journey took her through New York and Hamburg before finally settling in Dubai, where exposure to diverse lifestyles and fashion scenes deepened her appreciation for beauty as a powerful form of self-expression.

What began as sharing daily outfit inspiration evolved into a thriving digital presence and ultimately the creation of WZM a premium body care brand inspired by her heritage and her belief that what we wear on our skin should be as meaningful as it is beautiful.

Our Story

Three years ago, Mary came across an image of a Palestinian woman holding an olive tree in an act of protection. It was not a new image, yet for the first time, she paused to reflect on what it truly represented.

The olive tree is more than a symbol of her heritage; it embodies a profound connection to land, memory, and belonging. It has witnessed generations unfold through seasons of abundance and hardship alike, yet it remains deeply rooted, enduring with grace and unwavering strength.

That image became the emotional foundation of the brand.

Inspired by this connection, olive oil was incorporated into the formula as a tribute to the olive tree itself. Naturally rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E, it helps deeply hydrate, soothe, and protect the skin. Beyond its nourishing properties, it carries a deeper significance.

The inclusion of olive oil is both functional and symbolic.
